Pierson Bark Park is a privately owned dog park located northeast of Indianapolis, in Fishers, Indiana. Established by Heather and Andy Pierson in 2005, Pierson Bark Park was a typical Indiana farm field until the Piersons transformed it into a four acre recreational area for dogs and their humans.
The park features a meandering brick path that winds throughout the entire four acres and beautiful fountain-aerated pond where your dog can splash around or quench its thirst during spring, summer, and fall. Pierson Bark Park also offers a convenient “small or elderly dog” area, which is separate from the main park, for those who are concerned about the safety of their smaller companions. The entire park is enclosed by a six foot fence for your dog’s safety.
Members may visit the park any time from dawn until dusk, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year (unless we are mowing or doing park maintenance). Annual, monthly, or day passes may be purchased during office hours or by appointment. Visit our membership page for the application and additional information.
Pierson Bark Park (sometimes mistakenly spelled Pearson Bark Park, Person Dog Park, and Peerson Bark Park) is located on the north east side of Indianapolis in Fishers, IN. Annual and day passes are available. The Pierson’s intend to hold adoption events for homeless dogs in coordination with the local humane societies (Marion County, Hamilton County Humane Societies) and are on a mission to find homes for dogs in need of them. Pierson Bark Park is privately owned unlike the Broad Ripple and Eagle Creek Dog Zones. “Pooch Passes” or access passes to the park can be obtained for the day or an annual pass for attending the park on a regular basis. To obtain a either a day or annual pass, come to the park office with your dog’s vaccination records documenting current inoculations for Rabies, Parvo, Distemper and Bordetella, and complete the application form, sign the waiver, and pick up the dog park pamphlet. The Pierson Dog Park is a fantastic way to end the day. You and your furry pal can come and meet new friends and get a little fresh air. It is a great way for both of you to unwind. Toys such as balls and frisbees are of course welcome.
